Your privacy and how the booking enquiry form works.

Information collected and purposes
When enquiring about a trip, you may supply your name, contact details, pickup and drop-off locations, dates and times, passengers, luggage, flight details and optional notes. We use this information to consider your request, reply, provide a quotation and, if a trip is agreed, arrange the service and meet related legal obligations. The main legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request, followed where applicable by contractual performance and legal obligations.
How the form works
When you submit the website form, the server attempts to save your enquiry in our protected MySQL database. When successful, a request reference is displayed; we then reply personally with availability and price. If storage fails, you can use WhatsApp, email or telephone instead.
Recipients and third-party services
COMPARASSU receives information you choose to send and may share it with authorised service providers only when necessary to fulfil an agreed journey. WhatsApp handles messages under its own privacy terms and may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Email providers handle the delivery of emails. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may share technical data such as an IP address with Google.
Retention
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for no more than 12 months unless a legal reason requires longer retention. When a journey is contracted, accounting and contractual records may be retained for periods required by applicable law. Technical logs are handled under the hosting provider's own retention policy.
Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal data by emailing limo@guydriver.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL.
Cookies and analytics
Analytics measurement is only enabled after consent. Google Maps route estimates are requested separately when you click the calculate button. Other third-party providers may process technical data as described in this policy.
PostHog analytics and consent
PostHog is activated only after your explicit choice in the analytics preferences banner. We may then record page visits and limited generic events (such as booking review, WhatsApp clicks or route calculation). Journey addresses, names, phone numbers, email addresses and notes are never sent as event properties. Automatic form capture and session replay are disabled. You can decline or withdraw your permission at any time via “Privacy · Analytics” in the footer. If no PostHog project token is set, nothing is sent to PostHog.
Google Maps Routes API and traffic
The optional “Calculate distance & travel time” button sends pickup and drop-off addresses and the chosen departure time to our IONOS server, which calls the Google Maps Routes API. Google processes this information to estimate distance and traffic-aware journey time. Durations are indicative; long-term forecasts rely mainly on historical traffic. No personal contact details are included in this Google request. This action is optional.

Payment on board
After your quotation is confirmed, you may choose cash or card payment on board. Your choice in the form is recorded with your enquiry; GUY DRIVER confirms the arrangements before the journey. This website does not collect or store card numbers, and submitting an enquiry does not initiate a payment.
Booking request storage and processing
After submitting the website form, your details, itinerary and consent are saved in a private MySQL database hosted at IONOS when the service is configured. Otherwise, you can still send the enquiry by WhatsApp or email. A saved request is not a confirmed booking.
Optional marketing email consent is separate from your booking request. Campaign UTM source parameters may be stored with the enquiry for business attribution.
Cookies and advertising
PostHog loads only with analytics consent. Google Ads tags and Meta Pixel load only with advertising consent. Declining prevents these scripts from loading. You can update your choices in the footer. Google Routes is triggered on request; Google Places suggestions require a separate click.
Unconverted enquiries are scheduled for deletion after 12 months, except where legal retention is needed. You may request access, correction, deletion or objection at limo@guydriver.com.
Google Places address suggestions are disabled by default. They activate only after you request them; Google then receives the search text. Manual address entry remains available.
